The crunchy coated CRACRIZ cereals are produced by extrusion cooking of a recipe based on cereals. They are then coated with chocolate or caramel.
Our mastery of extrusion guarantees spherical pellets for coating, with a thin alveolar structure consequently crush proof. The regular pellet size and the smooth surface finish facilitate quality coating and allow reduction of the quantity of coating chocolate. Chocolate coated CRACRIZ can be incorporated into desserts, as ice cream or yogurt topping, or into muesli.
Coating protects the cereal nucleus and thanks to our two-coat technology, we produce coated CRACRIZ that can remain crunchy in moist environments such as, for instance, pancakes fillings.
